Maasmechelen Village likes to enrich your shopping experience with surprising pop-ups, delicious culinary treats and… mind-blowing art.
From May to September, the Village will be taken over by Charles Kaisin. This Belgian designer extraordinaire transforms Maasmechelen Village into a joyous art installation celebrating the best of Belgium. Inspired by the theme “Proud to be Belgian”, Charles designed an exclusive print for MMV. Numerous round, Atomium-like
spheres mixed with the colors of the Belgian flag dress the Village and pop up when you least expect them to. Moreover, you will be stunned by an oversized, 6 meters tall sculpture of a true Belgian icon: Manneken Pis.
In his very own surprising, humorous and slightly surrealist way, Charles throws a party to honor Belgian art, fashion, food and culture. Let’s celebrate Belgium as the creative center it is!
